Sri Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay, one of the most important authors to write in the Bengali language, unlike his peers, wrote about nature, innocence and the inner self. Commemorating the author’s 126th birthday, the family of Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay is organising a series of online sessions, started from 12th September 2020. These virtual sessions will be live-streamed everyday at 8 pm (IST) on Banglalive.com Facebook page (facebook.com/banglaliveofficial) and on a page (facebook.com/
unknownbibhutibhushan) administered by the writer’s family. On 21st September, 2020 Prof. Abdul Kafi will discuss on Bibhutibhushan O Dukkhidol in conversation with Prof. Tapobrata Bhaduri. Complete Event Schedule : 12th September: The author’s family will present a series of images and photographs, recounting Bibhutibhushan’s life through them. 13th September: A speed-translation project of Adarsha Hindu Hotel will be announced and discussed by the group of eminent translators that has come together for this project. 14th September: Eminent academic Mainak Biswas will give an audio-visual lecture on Satyajit Ray’s interpretation of Bibhutibhushan. 15th September: Bibhutibhushan Research Scholar, Professor of Bengali in Purash KanpurHaridas Nandi High School, Sri Tapabrata Bhaduri will discuss on Bibhutibhushan's rebellious consciousness. 16th September: Bibhutibhushan's grandson Sri Trinankur Banerjee will discuss on author's spiritual privacy in conversation with Sanmatrananda. 17th September: Workers and Their Life of Work in the Writings of Bibhutibhushan. Rusati Sen, economist and renowned Bibhutibhushan scholar will be in conversation with journalist Siladitya Sen 19th September: Bengali Publishers like Sabitendra Nath Roy (Mitra & Ghosh), Zafar Ahmed Rashed (Batighar Publishing, Bangladesh), Indrani Mitra (Editor of Mitra & Ghosh) along with economist Avirup Sarkar will discuss the History of Publishiong and Bibhutibhushan's Popularity 20th September: "Traveler Bibhutibhushan" - a discussion with Dr. Pabitra Sarkar, Prasad Ranjan Roy & Pinaki Chakraborty by Author's two grandsons Tathagata & Trinankur Bandyopadhyay. 21st Spetember: A discussion on Bibhutibhushan O Dukkhidol by Abdul Kafi in conversation with Tapobrata Bhaduri. Tips: Banglalive editor/s and everyone in the fiction department writes an opinion and rates the fiction or poetry about a story being considered for publication. We may even send it out to external editors/readers for a blind read from time to time to seek opinion. A published story may not be liked by everyone. There is no one thing or any particular feature or trademark to get published in the magazine. A story must grow on its own terms.

Please submit original, well-written articles on appropriate topics/interviews only. Properly typed and formatted word document (NO PDFs please) using Unicode fonts. For videos and photos, there is a limitation on size, so email directly for bigger files. Along with the article, please send author profile information (in 100-150 words maximum) and a photograph of the author. You can check in the portal for author profile references.
No nudity/obscenity/profanity/personal attacks based on caste, creed or region will be accepted. Politically biased/charged articles, that can incite social unrest will NOT be accepted. Avoid biased or derogatory language. Avoid slang. All content must be created from a neutral point of view.
Limit articles to about 1000-1200 words. Use single spacing after punctuation.
Article title and author information: Include an appropriate and informative title for the article. Specify any particular spelling you use for your name (if any).
Submitting an article gives Banglalive.com/TheSpace.ink the rights to publish and edit, if needed. The editor will review all articles and make required changes for readability and organization style, prior to publication. If significant edits are needed, the editor will send the revised article back to the author for approval. The editorial board will then review and must approve the article before publication. The date an article is published will be determined by the editor.
